{South Central Task Force}
The South Central Task Force consists of eight counties in the South Central portion of Pennsylvania, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York.

OUR VISION

 

The SCTF will be the premier and enduring, “all-hazards” emergency preparedness task force that collaborates and coordinates both public and private sector resources for Regional solutions that provide support to communities when events exceed their capabilities.

  


OUR MISSION

 

The SCTF will assume a leadership role in delivering a comprehensive and sustainable regional “all-hazards” emergency preparedness program that addresses planning, prevention, response and recovery for events in South Central PA that exceed local capabilities.


OUR VALUES

 

Regional Capability – SCTF will deliver a “best in class,” all-hazards regional emergency preparedness capability.
 
Customer Focused – The citizens and emergency response community of South Central PA are our customers and require a regional mutual aid capability that is timely, effective and builds upon pre-existing relationships and agreements.
 
Collaboration - SCTF stakeholders will reflect the diversity of the regional emergency preparedness community, including public, private and non-governmental organizations.
 
Sustainability – SCTF must consider evolving threats, hazards and funding in sustaining our regional emergency management program.
 
Safety – Priorities and policies will be established using risk-based methodologies that ensure the safety of the public, emergency responders and support personnel.
 
Fiscal Responsibility – SCTF funding comes from our citizens; SCTF must develop programs and solutions that are cost-effective and fiscally responsible.
